East meets West

East meets West. Instant love. Their first date was on a roof-top bar in Shanghai, where they both lived at the time. They describe their first date as being kind of magical. Their love grew from there and so one day Niels popped the question and she said yes!

I personally love multi-cultural weddings, especially when the couple wants to show it in every possible way. The bride’s oriental roots showed through the Chinese porcelain vases, fortune cookies, home-made freshly-baked Chinese cookies and other traditions on the wedding day. And who doesn’t love chocolate and beer? Lucky the groom is from Belgium.

Just colourful

Ask anyone who knows them well and they will tell you their love for each other is pure and will last forever.

The groom, had just one request: Make the bride happy! The bride is the type that can do anything if she puts her heart into it, but felt more comfortable leaving her wedding details to HereWithMe. She said “not having to worry about the organisation of her wedding and knowing that even the smallest detail would be taken care of” helped her relax and enjoy her wedding day.

She was however, the captain when it came to setting the colour theme.  The bride knew exactly how she wanted her wedding to look like. She loves colour and wanted her wedding flowers to look like she had gone to a field, cut a handful of different flowers and just put them together in a bunch. So we used seasonal wild and garden flowers, as well as beautiful peonies, which gave an elegant touch.

The weather may not have been ideal, considering that we had to move everything indoors. She was super unlucky, considering rain in Limassol is something we rarely experience, but she didn’t care because she knew that she was lucky enough to get married to the man she loves and that loves her back no matter what!

The Perfect Destination Wedding!

Any wedding that includes a pier, a great deal of flowers and the company of only a few loved ones, is a wedding that is bound to be a success! This lovely couple chose Limassol to say their “I do” and I think they couldn’t have made a better choice.

The wedding ceremony was intimate, romantic and very private. It was set on a stone-paved pier, surrounded by sea, while the sun was about to dive in. When I look back at their photos and how elegant everything was, it fits them perfectly. Their wedding dinner was pure joy, as the family sat down and took the time to honor the couple, share stories, play games and laugh.

A couple that truly motivates

Abir and Anthony are my kind of couple. I am going through the pictures of this wedding, thinking about what to write and I am instantly overwhelmed with the best feelings. I got such a positive energy from them. You can tell that they love each other just by meeting them for 5 minutes.

Close friends and family flew from Lebanon to witness their love for each other. They came with the best mood, ready to party and cheer the couple. The setting was like the bride wanted it: a beautiful outdoor setting by the beach decorated with flowers in the shades of pink and purple.

Love is in the air

The best part about a destination wedding? It’s the very best vacation of your life and you get to share it with everyone you love. Guests from all around the world took time out of their lives to be in Cyprus for this lovely wedding.

It was a non-stop party from the moment everybody arrived, to the day they hopped on the airplane home. The feeling of having everyone that’s important in the same beautiful place, drinking beer, watching fireworks, eating souvlaki on the beach, and participating in what was the most epic 3-day celebration was all the couple could ask for.

This beautiful couple met in Barcelona and fell in love in an instant. They wanted their wedding to be filled with “wow” moments, and be as fun as they are.

Their wedding ceremony took place at the Panayias Evangelistrias church, followed by a cocktail reception at the backyard of the St. George chapel in Polemidia village.

A selected number of guests were then invited to join the couple in fun and games at the gardens of the Elias Beach Hotel in Limassol. Guests were welcomed with a bottle of the couple’s favorite beer, Teegernseer Hell, a local beer from the bride’s German hometown. Dinner followed under the stars at the Blue Paradise Restaurant, overlooking the beach and the hotel’s private pier. It was set up to feel intimate and fun, like a family dinner.
